Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By accessing or using answer-me ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. You must be at least 18 years old and act in a professional capacity.

2. Description of Service

answer-me is an AI-powered multichannel inbox for B2B sales professionals. The Service centralizes prospect replies from email and LinkedIn, generates personalized response drafts using AI, and enables you to review, refine, and send replies through connected channels.

3. Account Registration

Accounts are personal and non-transferable. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activities under your account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information during registration.

4. Subscription and Billing

  • Subscriptions are billed in EUR via Stripe, VAT-inclusive where applicable.
  • Plans renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle unless canceled.
  • You may cancel at any time from your billing settings; access continues until the end of the current paid period.
  • Refunds are granted only where required by applicable law (e.g. EU consumer protection for the 14-day withdrawal period, which does not apply to professional subscriptions).

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for spam, unsolicited mass messaging, or any activity that violates anti-spam laws (CAN-SPAM, GDPR, LCEN).
  • Target prospects without a lawful basis under GDPR or applicable local laws.
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the AI models, weights, prompts, or algorithms.
  • Share account credentials or resell access to the Service without a written agreement.
  • Store or transmit malicious code, illegal content, or content infringing third-party rights.
  • Circumvent rate limits, security measures, or access controls.
  • Use the Service in any manner that could damage, disable, or impair it.

6. AI-Generated Content

The Service generates draft replies using AI. You acknowledge that:

  • AI-generated content is a suggestion and must be reviewed before sending.
  • You are solely responsible for the content you send to your prospects and for GDPR/anti-spam compliance.
  • We do not guarantee the accuracy, appropriateness, or effectiveness of AI-generated replies.
  • AI output may occasionally be inaccurate or factually incorrect — review before approval.

7. Data and Privacy

Your use of the Service is governed by our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. You retain full ownership of your data and can request deletion at any time via /data-deletion.

8. Third-Party Integrations

The Service integrates with third-party platforms (Gmail, LinkedIn, HubSpot, Fathom, Stripe, etc.). Your use of these integrations is subject to the respective third-party terms. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or policies of third-party services.

9. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, AI models, and documentation, is owned by answer-me. You retain ownership of your data (conversations, contacts, replies). You grant us a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive license to process your data solely for the purpose of providing the Service.

10. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Planned maintenance is communicated in advance when possible. No SLA applies to self-serve plans unless explicitly stated in a separate agreement.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, answer-me shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

12. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms, with or without notice. Upon termination, your data is retained for 30 days to allow export, then permanently deleted (except billing records retained for legal compliance).

13. Modifications

We may modify these terms. Material changes are notified by email or in-app at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.

14. Governing Law and Disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of France. Any disputes shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Paris, France. Consumers retain the statutory rights of their country of residence.
